Best Rule ever
This in Business is possibly the greatest analysis known to business people around the world. 80% of your business comes from 20 % of your customers. One of the best who use this rule are service industries and as you know customers are kings for businesses. But in reality only one in five of them are very important than others but you still need a balance .
If you want to see how effective this rule is check how celebs are treated when they out when they are swamped with photographers. You probably see that maybe there are a few celebs in the area and those celebs probably account for the revenue which comes in with people wanting to see them. If the celeb population is around 20 % and employees around store restaurants and people who come and visit its become that 20% of people affect 80% peoples lives in the area.
Best Book Ever.
One of the best books that I have ever read in my life and one in which you should be doing if you are not doing so is what they don't teach you at Harvard Business School. If you are in Sales you need to read this book. If you want to progress in life in business sense you should buy this book. Its so simple yet even maybe educated people around the world who have read it will tell you its money well spent.
New Year New Habits.
I hope that there is a lot of change in the coming year and the only advice I can give you is make sure you follow a guideline of what you want and dont want to happen. You must look at your calender and look at what you did last year and how you can make sure that all the things you did were good. Its kind of looking at what were your strengths and weaknesses and how effective you plan to fix them or improve on them.
Seth Godin is awesome
When ever I watch his videos he always makes me laugh but at the same time he makes me aware of how you can use the internet to your advantage. The best advice I can give you with all of the advice I have ever given is that I think you should go and read his books and there is a small preview from the Google books application on his Book Ideavirus.

My first one
"Looking at how the economy is like its going to be interesting to see how much money we are going to be spending on stuff. I think that we are going to be spending much less in the coming months and lets hope this global recession does not last for long." I think this is what is going to be ringing in our ears from Jan 1 2009 to 31 Dec 2009 so the only thing I can say is that I think we should brace ourselves for an interesting 365 days of a world which is shaking with fear.

I think that Google deserves to be where they are right now and only they can do as much as they can. They have many functions to which at least three quarters of the things they have we do know about and if we did I think we would be at a better place right now and the Internet could possibly be one of those mediums where it will make you more successful than you could possibly imagine it would. I love anything to do with the print medium since I am from a arts background and I love drawing anything. the Internet wow now that's a medium that has made a lot of people money and also made people cry with their identity stolen but that's the thing in life you win some and you will probably lose a lot at the same time.
One of the best Marketers out there should be drum roll please Seth Godin he is one of the most amazing people you could ever meet up with. I have seen many of his videos on YouTube and also his Blog and this guy is a genius to say the least and if I was to give anyone advice on having a successful career in this modern age read his books and see what he blogs about. Its worth your time. I always look at teachers as been mentors who want you succeed in life and as I am sure like this should be the way things have to be.

Marketing
One of the things I'm thankful in life is that I was fortunate that my parents gave me the best life I could ever wish for. I am here typing this message to you on the basis on me thinking of what I want to achieve in life. I have always wondered on what do we really need in life and what life needs in us. I am a student at Fleming College and I am studying Marketing. I always wanted to become a successful business person and what I have seen and learnt in the past 2 years of my college life is that I really wish that I become a better human being and one who contributes to communities, Family and future development in others. I believe that money should not be your drive in life, if you want to become successful but looking at yourself and the people around you should.
Now talking about Marketing the thing I value so much about it is that Marketing in essence is a perception that we create in customers minds so that we can give them what they need when we get an understanding of their needs and we try hard to satisfy them. If I was to give anyone any advice I would say this for you to be a successful Marketer always look at It as a Marketer and not a consumer, and when you get this understanding keep in mind that what we do has to be value packed and successfully contribute to both the organization and the customers. Marketing will always evolve in more ways that marketers them selves do not understand and that only starts with the emergence of technology.
The Internet has driven many things in life and for us marketers we know that it has made consumers clever but at the same time the 4 P's will always be the four P's and the Internet will fall in the Promotion side of things. I always knew that in life for you to be a successful business person you as a person have to adapt to whats happening around you and try to have a plan in mind on how you will be the best you can ever try to be. Business people right now have to make sure that they are on top of their game and also try to make sure that they can still keep up when they have missed many opportunities that will bring them as much fruitfulness of success they can possibly imagine. I think for me I always try to look at my self as a product one that is trying to create awareness around so that maybe a future employer can see what they would want in any employee.
One other thing as a product you have to look presentable as if a customer were to buy you in a store. The price you put yourself has to be the best 1 dollar per dollar value. You have to make sure what comes out of your mouth is not nonsense what has t make sense and try to not swear in public we have a dictionary that was created for us with many words and we go to school so that they teach us to contract words together. The place is when we are asked to go somewhere we are not expected to go we have to make sure that place we have been invited we have to make sure that we try hard to go to.

My Life
There are many things in life that I have always wanted to do. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to write 50 things in life that you have always wanted to do? I have always wanted to buy a 1974 Porsche 911 Turbo. I also wanted to be a international cricket player, I wanted to be an actor,artist and many more things. Its interesting to see if I am going to be doing the most important ones and how I will feel if I achieve at least one of them. But the one that has been on my mind for the past three years. Its to be a good Business person who believes in ethics and a good role model for the next generation of business people to follow. I can't wait to work in the Ad industry and shake things up. Many marketers dream of having the ultimate job but in the beginning a job is a job. As long as I can get employed in this environment I will be so happy. The cell phone will be interesting because people perceive it as not being the most direct with the audience. I think maybe that since we now have phones like the iphone we will see more adds and its going to be credible.
